1. Unit 1 Comprehension Test (covers unit 1 weeks 1-5)
Students will take half this test on Thursday and will finish the other half on Friday. A total of 4 periods will be given and should be enough time for students to complete all the multiple choice and short answer questions.
We will review in class and students will also receive homework to review. Students should look over all graded papers to prepare. They should also continue to read every night to improve their reading and comprehension skills.
2. Math Chapter 2 Test
This math test will be on addition and rounding. Students should know vocabulary words from this chapter. In addition, they should remember their place values (ones, tens, hundreds, and thousands), how to round (to the tens and hundreds place), how to add 2, 3, and 4 digit numbers, and how to solve word problems. They can review using graded worksheets on this topic as well as their math books.
Friday, October 20
1. Unit 1 Comprehension Test (covers unit 1 weeks 1-5)
Students will finish their unit test.
*The teacher holds the right to change test dates. Students will be told in advance if any changes will be made.
*If students are absent on a test day, they should be ready to take the test the day they come back to school.
